White Flood
Pre-Workout Nitric Oxide Energy Drink from Controlled Labs
White Flood Side Effects

What are the side effects of White Flood?
White Flood is a pre-workout energy supplement made by supplement company Controlled Labs.  I found out about it at this White Flood Review.  It is designed to give you more energy and muscular pumps when lifting weights.  I personally LOVE White Flood because it simply works.  All you have to do is take two scoops 30-45 minutes before working out with 20oz water.  Once you get to the gym, you're feelin the rush and have an incredible workout - every single time!

However, with something this good, I had to look up the side effects of this product.  Sometimes it makes my skin tingle, so I know something is going on.  After doing some research, here are the White Flood side effects from its primary ingredients:

Arginine Alpha-Ketogluterate (AAKG) Side Effects

AAKG has very few side effects.  Many studies showed that people were fine when using it, and they used a lot more than the 2.2g of AAKG in White Flood.  It might cause gastrointestinal problems for diabetics though.

You can even add more AAKG to White Flood for an even bigger pump - it's the arginine that drives nitric oxide into your muscles.

Beta Alanine Side Effects

Beta Alanine is an amino acid in White Flood that increases your endurance.  This provides the biggest side effect, however.  Beta alanine sometimes gives you the %u201Ctingles%u201D, a pin-prickly, flushed feeling on your skin.  Not everyone feels it, and some people actually like this.

If you feel this tingling sensation with White Flood, it%u2019s the beta alanine. Studies proved that it is healthy and there was no blood toxicity after 4 weeks of beta alanine use, so this is not a bad side effect or a harmful amino acid.  It is naturally occurring in your body.

Caffeine Side Effects

Caffeine has minimal side effects for healthy individuals when used properly.  If you use White Flood as your only caffeine source, you are well below the amount that causes problems.  2 scoops of White Flood has about 200mg caffeine, but you can typically handle 400mg per day safely.

However, with too much caffeine, you can get restlessness, nervousness, excitement, insomnia, increased urination, irritability, and irregular or rapid heart beat. This is why you shouldn't drink too much coffee or other caffeinated products along with White Flood, and never take more than two scoops.

You can also become addicted to caffeine.  For this reason, you should cycle off of White Flood.  2 months on, 3 weeks off is a good way to go.  You might have headaches when getting over the "addiction" - that is actually withdrawal when detoxing.  This is no different than if you used coffee every day and then stopped.

Finally, you shouldn't use White Flood if you're obese or have mental disorders.  In those cases, stay away from major doses of caffeine.

We hope this shows that the main ingredients in White Flood are very safe when used properly.  2 scoops, and no more, 30-45 minutes before working out.
